Every role is scoped to a part of the market that has to work.
Roles are grouped by function and listed with their base office, contract type and requisition number. The requisition number is the reference the Exchange uses at every stage, from application through to offer.
We hire against a written role definition and a defined bar. Interviews are structured, the panel is named in advance, and every candidate receives a decision with reasons.

How Our Process Works
The same four stages apply to every role. Where a role requires a regulatory fitness assessment, that step is disclosed in the role definition before you apply.
1. Application
Applications are submitted against a requisition number and acknowledged within five business days. A named recruiter owns your file from that point.
2. Structured interview
Two interviews against the published role definition, with a panel identified to you in advance. The same questions are put to every candidate for the same requisition.
3. Practical exercise
A work-sample exercise drawn from the actual role — a margin scenario, a custody exception, an incident review. Exercises are time-boxed and compensated where they run beyond two hours.
4. Decision
A decision with reasons, whether or not it is an offer. Offers set out base compensation, benefits and start date in full at the point they are made.
Before You Apply
Read the role definition
Every requisition has a written definition setting out the surface you would own, the bar you would be assessed against, and who you would report to.
Right to work
The Exchange sponsors work authorisation for roles it cannot fill locally, and says so in the role definition where that applies.
Accessibility
Adjustments to any stage of the process are arranged on request and are not recorded against your application.
