Corridor Operator is one of nine Exchange participant classes.
The Exchange refers to this class as GX-CO. It sits in the Corridor & Oversight group and carries the obligations set out below in addition to the requirements common to every participant.
Admission test: Route accreditation, tracked handover records at every transfer point, and operating licences current in each jurisdiction the corridor crosses.

Obligations of the Class
What it does
Corridor Operators move accredited material between origin, vault and delivery point. They are the reason a corridor is an institution rather than a road: the handover record they produce is what lets custody and clearing stay joined up.
Handover discipline
Every transfer of physical control produces a timestamped, dual-signed record. A gap in the chain suspends the consignment from delivery until it is resolved.
Cross-border obligations
Operators hold current authorisation in every jurisdiction on the route and notify the Exchange of any change in standing within one business day.
What it is not
A Corridor Operator does not take title, does not trade the material it carries, and does not certify it.
Standing
Published
Admission, restriction, suspension and withdrawal for this class are published on the participant register with the effective date and the rulebook section relied on.
Reviewed annually
Standing is reviewed every year against the admission test, and at any time on a material change in the participant's circumstances.
Appealable
Adverse decisions may be referred to the Exchange review panel, which sits independently of the desk that made the original determination.
